An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; finding out if their relationship can survive their wildly different lives and intrusive families. Originally titled "Shiksa," which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. I have just binge watched the series. Really funny and captures a lot of the essence of Jewish family life. Smartly done, with great characters and acting. Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, and the other key characters were fantastic, especially Noah's mom (the quintessential Jewish matriarch), Joanne's sister, Noah's brother Sacha, and Sacha's wife. I really hope there is a second season to further explore Joanne and Noah's relationship and see what the future holds for both of them personally and in their careers.
